Dear Citizens of Port Richey:

As my time of serving your wonderful city comes to an end, I want to thank the men and women of the Port Richey Police Department for the privilege of leading them for the past four months.  I also want to thank the many citizens of Port Richey who have given their friendship and support to me and the police department.

I also want to thank Mayor Eloise Taylor, Vice Mayor Bill Columbo, and Councilmembers Nancy Britton, Terry Rowe, and Steve O’Neill for their unwavering support of the police department.  The City Manager Tom O’Neill and his staff are true professionals and are to be congratulated on how well they manage the city.

A new Chief of Police will be appointed very soon.  This appointment and the conclusion of the work being done by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement will make your police department stronger, more professional, and will greatly enhance their ability to provide quality police services to the City of Port Richey.

With Kindest Personal Regards, I Am
Jim Gabbard
Chief of Police
